General

Taking the much-loved sound of the Little Mark Ninja Signature amp and throwing in a few upgrades, the Markbass Little Mark IV Ninja takes things up a few notches. The reworked four-band EQ section makes dialling in the ideal bass sound easier than ever, while the unique Old-School filter pot can be pushed up to give the higher frequencies a rounder and more flowing, vintage character. This amplifier head also comes armed with a three-way rotary switch that quickly scrolls through a Flat or Scooped output, or can be shifted into FSW to engage an external footswitch. The new bi-band limiter is another plus, and on the front control panel, an ever-useful mute switch and Line Out button offers control over your signal as it's sent to the mixer or PA system. And around the back, you'll find a Pre-Post EQ switch.

The Markbass Little Mark IV Ninja also features a 1000W MPT power amp section that doles out masses of power while ensuring maximum clarity and dynamics. Basically, you're getting flawless performance at every volume level courtesy of advanced Mark Proprietary Technology. While plenty of bass amps are happy to use power amp sections that aren't actually designed for bass frequencies, Markbass refuses to follow the trend. Instead, they've developed their own power amp from the ground up, resulting in a bass amp that both respects and enhances the sound of your instrument. This amp makes no compromises, which is probably why eminent bassists like Richard Bona are big fans.
